H.R. Haldeman
Giddy was close to Nixon. He helped Nixon in the campaign against JFK and managed his campaign for governor of California. In 1968, Giddy was cheif of staff for Nixons Presdiential campaign. Haldeman was involved in covering up the watergate insident and was later fired by Nixon becuase of the scandel. He did not testify against Nixon. Haldeman was convicted of conspiricy and obstruction of justice and spent 18 motnhs in prison without any pardon.
