G. Gordon Liddy
Liddy on right. Liddy was added to the white house staff and his main job was to keep stuff from leaking about the Nixon administraton. He was paid $250,000 to make a plan to break into the Watergate. They bugged the phones but didnt get much information. After Nixon won his 2nd term the 5 burglurys, and gave them $300,00 to keep quiet, were charged to life in prison and Giddy has charged to 20 years in prison. He only spent 4 years in prison though because Jimmy Carter released him.
